Circleville Methodist Church

Blue Christmas Service – Sat December 216:30 pm

Blue Christmas is a day in the Advent season marking the longest night of the year. This church service honors people that have lost loved ones and are experiencing grief.  It is also a time to acknowledge the complex feelings that can arise during the holiday season, and to offer hope and healing.

Please join us Saturday, December 21 at 6:30 pm to experience this special service.

December 24 – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service – 7:00 pm

Please join us next Tuesday for a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7:00 pm.  This is a Christian tradition that honors the birth of Jesus Christ with the lighting of candles as a symbol of hope and celebration. The tradition is rooted in the Jewish practice of lighting lamps during religious rituals. Early Christians adopted the practice to represent Christ as the “Light of the World”.

Our mission is to share Christ with the world through worship, service, and witness.

We are a group of people envisioning a faith community, established by the will of God, the love of Christ, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We gather to worship God, serve our neighbors, and witness Christ in assistance of the Holy Spirit. That means we love God and cherish people outside the church through compassion, intercessory prayers, and sharing the good news of Christ, who sacrificed Himself to save all from the bondage of sin and death.

We eagerly strive to live as Wesleyan believers by frequently sharing Wesley’s sermons from the pulpit, offering mutual spiritual support in various small groups, and engaging in self-examination through believers’ testimonies, both within the congregation and community.

If you are searching for a new home among believers, consider Circleville Church, where God’s people, known as Wesleyans, welcome your visit. This welcome extends not only through this website but, more significantly, in person at Sunday worship and Bible school, small groups, prayer groups, and various events organized by the Family Ministry Team.

Our hope is to be vessels of the gospel, bringing more people into His sacred home where they can meet Christ, learn how to live a blissful life, and become disciples of Christ who make more disciples. If our hope aligns with your own, please join us. Let’s establish great things together on behalf of Christ, who loved us so much.

May the LORD bless you and keep you!
